Antique French pine tall kitchen dresser made around 1920 probably. Two door, two drawer base with shelf, on tapered feet with moulded plinth. The top has two glazed display doors opening onto two shelves; bevelled corner cornice above. Panelled section below with shaped front supports. All the doors have working locks but just one key. The top comes off for transport. Condition is pretty good structurally: it's solid and sound; some woodworm damage to the bottom right edge of the top; it's a little bit crumbly but not extensive, and mostly hidden (see pics). One lower door has a chunk out of the bottom corner (pictured). One lower door trim has been replaced. The plinth has had some repairs spliced in. Cosmetically there are various marks, dings, scuffs and scratches etc, particularly lower left end of the plinth. We've smoothed this off as much as possible; the shelves have some darker patches from oils etc. There's nothing displeasing about any of this, to my mind: the look is a little rustic is all. It's a handsome and imposing piece and super useful. Dimensions: 150cm x 52cm x 221cm high (base height 107cm; top inside depth 38cm)
